New Seecamp problem

I got a new Seecamp LWS 32 last week. It's the California edition, which basically means it's got a cross-bolt safety.
The problem is that the draw bar is not engaging the hammer. If I push the trigger all the way forward, and rack the slide it will engage. Otherwise it will not engage when the slide is racked. I can fire a single shot, but the trigger does not reset after that shot. I've only used Silvertips so far.
I've opened it up, and cannot see any problems. The gun is pretty simple inside. The spring and all other parts appear to be in place. I suppose it could be bent abnormally.
I've tried calling Seecamp, but can't get through.
Any ideas?

The very legislation that supposedly makes guns safer, actually makes them more UNSAFE.
Who do we want making our guns? Gun makers, or (gulp) liberal democrats?
I' m sorry to hear that you're having difficulty. Can't ya send it back to get it "uncalifornia-d"?

If larry can't get to the phone your best bet is to send him a fax.
I think the fax # is listed in the manual along with the regular PH #.
Larry is usually very accomindating once you get through to him.

The phone number listed in my manual is actually the fax number. There was no phone number listed.
Today I faxed a note to him explaining the problem. He called me back less than 10 minutes after I sent the fax!!
He sent me a picture of how the spring should look, which it does not. So he's gonna mail me a new spring today.
That's service!

I know Larry quite well. I knew that's the way things would happen. He's a good guy. He makes great pistols which he stands behind.

Cool.
I also thought he would take care of you right away.
Its a gem of a little gun, I want to see the 380 version and would love to see him give it some steroids and make it colt pony size in 9mm...

What's the latest on the Seecamp .380? Last I heard it was supposed to be available early this year but I've never seen a report of anyone owning one yet.
