Here is one I could not find in the threads. My father-in-law is 78 and still shooting strong. The issue??? Arthritis. He shoots a Glock 17 most of the time. His trigger finger is bent now due to arthrtis. He can still comfortably hold the Glock 17 and rack it. The issue is that with his trigger finger bent in toward the middle finger his trigger finger scrapes the bottom of the inside part of the trigger guard. We went experimenting with other pistols and the Smith M&P 9 seemd to the the most "in-line" to the trigger ergonomically. More information: He is 6'2 and about 210 with long fingers. He naturally has to "reach down" get to the trigger. Thought on pistols that are perhaps stronger ergonomically than the Glock???
