I'm looking for a basic belt to hang a compact auto on IWB. It doesn't have to be fancy but it does have to be cheap.

Wal-Mart sells a basic, thick work belt that I've found to very good when carrying a pistol. They sell both black and brown in a variety of sizes for around $10-$12. I've used mine to carry a compact 9mm IWB many times without a problem.

About as cheap as they come in a quality leather gunbelt. The looks are pretty decent too.
Enjoy!

Any instructor type belt ie Galco, wilderness, or Uncle mikes are worth there wieght in gold. Cheaper than leather, more adjustable in size, and stiff and wide enough for the task.

Also check out the Aker B21 leather belt. I've had one for over 2 years and it's working great. ~$35 when I got it too. last I knew www.galls.com stocked them.
