Someone told me someone was making +5 extensions for 9mm. Is that true, and are they reliable?

Here are a couple of the popular ones, there are probably more. I don't have any personal experience with any of them though.

I have Dawson and Taylor Freelance magazine extensions for my Glocks, and they've been trouble-free for thousands of rounds.

On a brief side note, the +2 mag extensions CDNN gives away, broke on me the other day, had about 2.9K rounds through the extensions when they gave out. They had cracked on the lip that holds them onto the mag body. Had one bust loose during recoil during a string. Checked the other two and all had cracks there as well.

I've tried them all and the Arredondo are the best. Very easy to take apart and clean.

I get +5 in a Glock 17 mag with the Dawson extension. Reliability is perfect so far, and comes from the right spring, and Dawson supplies one with the extension. No tool required to disassemble, just slide the latch to open.
