Look at their "glossary." These people are brain dead. They do not know firearms and they are trying to pass laws about firearms?

What is their moronic obession with gun shows? So if your state "closes" the gun show "loophole" you sell the gun in the parking lot at the grocery store instead of the gun show?

...the dominant handgun has become the semi-automatic pistol, which uses a removable ammunition magazine (also called a "clip"), usually located in the handle of the gun.

Called a "clip" by complete ignoramuses and leftist extremists—or do I repeat myself?

The civilian version of military guns, defined in federal law as semi-automatic firearms with a detachable magazine and certain features such as a folding stock, bayonet mount, or pistol grip (allowing an assault rifle to be fired with one hand). Well, if they are firing the rifle with one hand, they should feel good because of the loss of accuracy.

Their definition of handgun falls within their definition of assault rifle.A gun designed to be fired from one hand

Looking at an M-4A3 deployed in Afghanistan (see last month's American Rifleman), I see...

1. A PAQ-4 IR designator on a RAS
2. An M203 40mm grenade launcher
3. An Aimpont Comp M red dot
4. A 30 round magazine

But yet, the trooper of the 82nd Airborne is still able to fire the gun ONE HANDED. It's all in that deadly pistol grip.

Sheesh.

Heh. Notice there's no reference to CCW there at all? No definition of "shall issue" versus "discretionary", no attempt to prop up what HCI always touted as "local control".

It's an embarassment. I'm poking around the site now to get SOME reference to CCW of any sort...

Huh. They mention it, but without really saying squat:

http://www.campaignadvantage.com/sites/agsfoundation/s_conceal.html

But every single page has SOMETHING about the dreaded evil "gun show loophole" :barf:.

Chortle: the bit about "how to carry safely" - I expected to find a discussion of shoulder holsters vs IWB or whatever. Yea, right:

Overall:

God, what a buncha dweebs.

If you take an M1Garand, and lop off the barrel until there's 4" left, and you change the stock to a pistol grip... then yes, you would have a clip for your semi-auto pistol :D

Anti-gun people defining what a gun is. What a joke..

That's like Clinton defining what professional conduct is..

I like this one:

Are background checks fast and easy?

For most buyers, a criminal background check takes only a few minutes. For nearly all buyers, it takes a maximum of a couple of hours. Only 1 in 30 background checks lasts more than a day, and those are the criminal history checks most likely to uncover a felon.

A few minutes or few hours - which is it?

Why not make them all take longer than a day so we can catch all the felons rather than 1 in every 30 felons. I could be a politician with bold policies like this.

Imagine the naturalistic picture of a nest of widdle baby birdies with their mouths open and mommy birdie dropping chewed and predigested food into the widdle baby birdie's mouths.

Now put a label over mommy birdie--"Anti-gun advocacy groups"

Put the other label over the widdle birdies--"Journalists"

Pro-second amendment types do not know how to play the game

Anti-2 types play the system like a cheap fiddle.

We will see these definitions again in some objective news report involving a gun related incident.

Gun owners care about safety
AGS worked closely with the citizens of Colorado and Oregon to pass ballot initiatives that require background checks at gun shows. Both initiatives passed by large margins, with support from a majority of gun owners in both states.
with support from a majority of gun owners in both states
LIE! I live here and not a single gun owner I know voted for this! I am going to see if CONTACT: Matt Bennett 202-775-0300 x 212 can provide me with the information he used to come up with this deliberate, misleading statement. Of course the AGS supported it..... but I don't think a one of them OWNS a gun.

who allows these people to continue breeding?

Well, we aren't allowed to hunt them and thin their population and keep their numbers in check.

...or pistol grip (allowing an assault rifle to be fired with one hand). Does this mean that my coach gun is a stealth assault weapon, since I can shoot it one-handed WITHOUT a pistol grip?

edit...

This bit from the "Teenagers' Guide to Firearms Safety" is good too:
If you find a gun, do not touch it. Notify an adult, who can confiscate the firearm and then turn it over to the police. Crap! I just found my rifle in my bedroom! And there's a pistol sitting under my arm right now! Help! I need an adult to come confiscate them! :)
