Adhesive for Highpower Shooting?

Okay, I'm thinking of trying some kind of adhesive for my Highpower shooting this year. Mostly it's going to be a $5 stop-gap until I can replace my worn out old shooting coat.

I'm wondering what others have found works well and cleans easily. I've heard 3M 77 works pretty well. Any others?

Thanks all.

FWIW, I'm shooting a mouse gun XTC, and mostly looking to anchor my left elbow in my sitting position. I can get it in front of the knee, but then it wants to slide off. This is all in an effort to get the rifle closer to vertical. At this rate, I may just go back to canting it the way I used to! :fire:

Champions Choice sells a spray grip. It was called Hawkeye back in the day. The problem is all spray goop gets slippery as snot when it gets wet. Rainy weather is a problem.

I shoot the Man-Gun, and I don't use glue. :neener: If I did use glue, I'd use the 3M 77 stuff.

If it was a choice between a reasonable amount of cant (say less than 10º), and glue, I'd choose cant.
