I reallly really want to do something different - no what I mean? I have the airbrush and the compressor and an oven. Just wanting to know what is the application process of this product. Has anyone here done this finish personally? I am going to do my first rifle project, bbl install, headspace, trigger etc this summer-am looking foward to this. I can do a park on the metal surely but heard quite abit on the Cerakot-like the OD Grn especially.
would appreciate your input.

CCR Refinishing does this - he's on many of the forums. While, he does run a business - if you e-mail him, he might be willing to share info. I see him on the Sig Forum all the time - but I'll bet if you Google him, U will find his website.

I do not use Ceracoat. I tested it and was unhappy with the results. I do have a Ceramic Black that is my own formula and much more abrasion resistant:)

+1 to CCR. I refinish firearms as my only business, and also tried CerraCoat.
I liked the product, but I don't think it's any better than what I still use -TR. www.tenring.com supplies most business refinishers and a lot of OEMs. TR is also the source for a lot of private label finishes.

CCR, I didn't find a clear answer on your site for this Q, so I'll ask here. Any qualms about laying a nice satin black ceramic coating on a Stoeger 12ga Coach Gun? If you're willing to do it, what would be your charge?
You can PM here or email me at opensightsATgmailDOTcom.
Thanks!

I've used most of the spray and bakes.
Ceracoat is my first choice.
It's more difficult to work with and more expensive, but my unscientific observation is that it wears considerably better.
