No will power when it comes to buying guns!

I can scrimp and save and be extra stingy when it comes to little things like fast food, movies, etc. but I can't stop myself from buying a new gun when I have a really bad day at work!?
Now I can always rationalize that you can never really have too many guns to defend yourself, but I've bought my fair share in the last few months and it would probably do me better to keep a few less guns and more dollars for a rainy day.
Help! I can't stop buying guns!

Local sale (no paperwork) + good deal = SOLD! (to me)
I say that even though I passed up on a HK USP Compact .40 for $400 face-to-face. That was just amazing for me to pass that up. You can do it, too.

Hello My name is _________ and I'm a gunaholic.
I've fallen off the wagon many times.
Hmm keep wearing my 17 year old highschool underwear or
buy a couple of boxes of 9mm at Walmart?
I dumped all 25 of my credit cards 9 years ago thankfully or I would have to buy a seperate house for my guns.
At least gun hoarders are better off than cat hoarders except they are treated the same way by neighbors and police.

not really.......most people like the cats an cry when there put to sleep. when was the last time a gun hater felt bad about destroying a classic example of american freedom.
i wish i made enough to have that problem of spontaneous gun purchasing:(

Join the club.
If it helps, we started a separate checking account for gun-related stuff. Direct deposit, and that's what you can spend, and not a penny more. Gun stores, gun shows, Walmart, internet, all has to come out of this money.
Of course, Cslinger has already tried, "But, honey, it's three months same as cash, I will have enough in the account in three months."
Oh, well, I know I'll eventually give in, but we do try.

Gun stores, gun shows, Walmart, internet, all has to come out of this money.I haven't gone so far as to get a whole new checking account for guns, but I do have a category setup in Quicken and the day my spending on guns exceeds my spending on vehicles... then I know I'm in trouble. Especially if my vehicle spending keeps the past trend! :D
Get a new job!I thought about applying at a gun store. Then I would never be tempted!

I have no will power.
And I have to pay 10-20% more then most other states.
The prices here in Maryland are sick.
I went shooting today at lunch and ended up buying a used GP100 for $275.
The new ones are selling for $375-425 around here
I have no need for it.
I just always wanted a GP100.
It's my 3rd 4" 357 Mag.
God help me if I come across a 4" Python.

I have "will power"; I tell myself I will buy a gun! :D
Telling that to my wife, however, is another story. :uhoh:

You need to talk to Tamara. While she won't be able to help you overcome the urge to buy guns, she can help you justify it and not worry about being broke.
