What is the correct pronunciation for mepalt?
Is it "me" (like the "me" in method) and plat (rhymes with "flat")?

You inspired me to research to find the answer.
It's of french origin, of all things. The english word meaning the same is "plane" which makes sense.

So its closer to "may-plah."

Thanks for the help. I also did quite a bit of internet research, and finally found that it is indeed pronounced "MAY-Plah," or something approaching that.
