Just take a minute for a prayer for a great American please. I dont normally ask for prayers on the internet. I do not know this man personally but I wish I would have.

.......gone the sun
From the hill, from the lake, from the sky,
Rest in peace, soldier brave,
God is nigh.

Yes, I've met the man. Like most MoH recipients I've met, he was just a humble, everyday type of guy.

Most medal winners, not just the CMH, are just guys who were in the right place at the wrong time, and then they let their training and motivation take over. That can be sorta hard to do at times...

Rest in peace brave warrior.

I saw in yesterday's Albuquerque paper that he was a longtime Albuquerque resident, and that there is a move to name the Albuquerque VA hospital after him due to his long-time advocacy for wounded vets.
