I would like to replace a couple of mag latch springs but it would be trial and error if I couldn't tell Wolff or somebody the exact parameters of the springs I want. I have the same problem with a recoil spring. Is there some source or tools for describing and measuring springs--their dimensions, the size of the wire, the strength of the wire, etc.? Wolff wants info on springs I am looking for--such as gauge of wire-- and I can't provide it.
Thanks,
Drakejake

Measure the diameter of the wire with a micrometer or vernier calipers. Measure length and diameter of spring with same and count number of coils per inch. That will define the spring completely.

Yes, white bathroom Caulk. it adheres well and is perfectly white.
Then put some clear two part epoxy from the auto parts store over it to seal it in.
