Has anyone in Kalifornia heard about this case?
Here is the link: http://www.rkba.org/judicial/harrott-kings-county-casupct.pdf
If the word "series" was removed from the wording of what AR and AK manufacturers are banned, why aren't ARs and AKs from other manufacturers not listed selling their AR's and AK's here?

I worked for the Sheriff of Kings County when this was all going on. I was asked if I would be the expert witness who would tell the court the rifle in question was an assault weapon or not. I declined, for obvious reasons, and suggested the Sheriff get an expert from the Attorney General's office. I was told the AG's office didn't have an expert. I see now from the ruling the AG's office didn't have an expert who would give the Sheriff the opinion that he wanted.
Roberti-Roos has been superseded by SB-23 which defines assault weapons by physical characteristics and not by name and model. The rifle in this case is covered by SB-23.
If Mr. Harrott ever gets possession of the rifle, he will most likely have to have it transferred to a receiver out of state as it is highly unlikely he will qualify for an assault weapons permit from the Attorney General's office.

Like he said, that SB23 piece of crap! If it weren't for SB23 I wouldn't be leaving California. My family didn't run away from Mao just so I can deal with Senator Perata :barf:

I'm working on it. My SB-23 affected guns are already in safekeeping with a good friend in Idaho.
