I'll subtract this from my 15 minutes of fame. Lots of Texans on the list.

I'll be up there (for a short time anyways). I picked up 6pts yesterday (4 more to go).

The cut for this list will probably be in the low-to-mid 480's by years' end.

Congratulations on your points. sounds like your last 4 points will not take much longer. I hope when you leg out you plan on going to Perry to have it awarded to you on stage. Pretty cool thing. How many more EIC's do you have left for the year?

This was my first leg match of the year. My next one will be Camp Perry, and I'm definitely hoping to get up there on stage.

It's a very cool thing. If you LEG out this year, or any year, you ought to make the trip to the National Matches just for that ceremony. The CMP Director plays it short and sweet and things move along.

Nice reception across the street before the awards ceremony as well.

Blackfork: Noticed you're in east Texas. There's a Leg Match at Carthage on April 29 at the Panola County Gun Club.

Yelp!!! Free BEERRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!! at the party before the awards. Last year I pretty much did not drink much as When ever I get on the stage I do not want to fall off. LOL.
Let us know who your real name is before you go so we can watch the list and cheer you on when you get on the stage.
Last year was cool as a few friends made it that day and last year was the first time you went on the stage if you legged that same day instead of having to wait a year. Thats what happened to me as I got my last leg at Perry and had to wait a whole year to go up.

That's my home range. Great guys in that club. It's a famous Regional and rightly so.

I'll be shooting that weekend on team day, during the regional, (which I have won and been second) and on LEG day (which I have also won), unless I have to stand down to let non-distinguished guys shoot.

Over 40 folks signed up for the EIC/LEG match. Probably going to give five legs. The Regional is full and Rick is taking stand-bys. We do try to squeeze in standbys by having some folks pair fire standing and 600. We shoot the rapids on the alibi string.

There will also be a BIG Pistol LEG match on Sunday after the Rifle Leg. Last year it was the biggest Pistol LEG match in several states. Bigger than the Pistol regional leg.

Yep, I was there for the Pistol Leg Match last year and took second place for my first points ever in a Leg Match (6); we had 34 non-distinguished shooters. It must have been lucky since I ended up with a first at the State Pistol Match in Dallas (8 points) last June and first non-distinguished (third overall) at the Regional in Arcadia, OK (six points) in October. Only ten to go. :)
I'll be there for the Pistol Leg Match on the 29th. And I'm heading for Perry this year; just got my entry done on-line with the NRA and I did the CMP entry last week, so I'm all set.
