Drudge has a couple of interesting Mikey Moore stories this AM.

The first is a column by a black lady that took her son to see his "One Man Show" and was summarily insulted when Moore went off on a rant on how "The 9/11 airline passengers were all cowards because they were white. No black man would allow some puny arab to 'dis' them that way with just a box cutter. Black passengers would have slapped them around and taken their knives".

The columnist was incredibly angry and insulted at the stereotyping he used and how he made black's sound like naturally violent people.

Scratch the surface of a knee jerk liberal or pseudo populist and find a real racist. But it's OK because they mean well.

The other story is how he went on an on-stage rant about only making $750 a night for his one man show and how useless the stage hands all were. I guess the next night they refused to work for him and he left the UK the next day with out a word to anyone.

Somehow I don't think that will wind up on the Michael Moore discussion board. But I will put on my secret identity and visit the nice folks at the DU to see if there's anything there and sow a seed or two of discontent. I've managed to stay registered there now for almosty two months and haven't gotten thrown off once.

I took my son to see Michael Moore live at the Roundhouse, in north London, before Christmas. The US radical and author of the best-selling book Stupid White Men was (mostly) clever, funny, angry, sharp, iconoclastic and sceptical about the lies and humbug processed by the US government and big business. Sure there were some flunked bits – you expect that, the troughs are part of the adventure, an evening with a well-worn rebel.

What we did not expect was to feel so enraged at one point that we almost walked out. It was when Moore went into a rant about how the passengers on the planes on 11 September were scaredy-cats because they were mostly white. If the passengers had included black men, he claimed, those killers, with their puny bodies and unimpressive small knives, would have been crushed by the dudes, who as we all know take no disrespect from anybody. God save us from such stupid white men, especially now, when in the US and the UK, black people's lives are being ripped to shreds by drugs, lawlessness, fear and frightful violence plus the endless circle of racism, exclusion and incarceration. This is not awesome, Mr Moore; it is a calamity, for descendants of slaves unimaginably more so.

Actually it is behavior like this that can turn an openminded liberal into a thinking conservative. It was exactly behavior like this that turned Michael Medved, conservative talk show host out of Seattle, into a conservative. He spent a whole show describing incidents such as this while working in the political campains of liberals, some of them fairly high ranking. One story he told was where he was assigned to effectively "baby sit" Ted Kennedy the afternoon he was to make an appearance to make sure he didn't drink. He described Kennedys nervousness and irritability and how he actually smelled (not the honest smell of sweat). In contrast he noticed that when he would visit the homes of conservative politicians he was greeted with hospitality and noticed a much greater degree of "function" :) as opposed to the disfunction of the liberals:uhoh: . As a result he became what he is today.
Is there any doubt in anyones mind that given the power, todays liberals (leftists) would be todays fascists?

Mr Moore seems to forgotten that the passengers on the 1st three planes were instructed to not do anything as hijackings appeared to be another "take this plane to Cuba" type.

As for the 4th plane, umm, who said "Let's roll" and charged the terrorists?
