Definately not. They're very different animals.
They're both dimensionally different and the method of latching it into the magwell is different (horizontal slot at the rear for the SL series).
IIRC, only 5 and 10 round versions were available for the SL-7/770.

I had hopes that the pragmatic Germans at H&K would have just kept the same magazine system, but it was not meant to be.
