Hell yeah, this is what I'm talkin' bout.:D I'll have plenty of bullets to load for 6-8 months, I usually load 100 rounds/week. Now I just need the primers, good thing there is a gun show coming up in 3 weeks. I can get them there for $18/1000, CCI 500's. I scored 8 lbs of Unique last month at a sportsmans warehouse sale for $85. I am set.:) :D

I plan on loading these with 6.5 grains of Unique, this is the max load for a 155 grain lead bullet. I figure this should work great.

The few times I've had the money and tried to get that deal from Midway, they were out of stock. :( I end up going with the smaller amounts, but I'm hoping to find some cheap at a local gun show. If I do, the credit card gets another hit. incidently, I picked up 1K of the 155's, and if you do the numbers, a box of 1K weighs 24lbs. 3Kis 72lbs. The only way to sell a bulk that heavy is with free shipping. :D

I get pretty good results with 5.8-6 gr Unique, 8lbs should last you forever.

Try Cabelas if Midway is out.
3000 Rainier .40cal 155gr + shipping comes to $229.69.
With few exceptions, their shipping cost tops out at $13.75, so if you order a lot of bullets at once, its a pretty good deal. I don't think their primer/powder prices are that good, however.

I want to order the 3500 .38 125 Gr. JHP's with free shipping from Midway, but my pockets are empty. :(

I bought a gun instead. :)

I figure with the 1500 reloads I'm already sitting on, 165 grain Rainier's, add to that this batch of 3000, I should have enough target ammo for a very long time. Lots and lots of shooting fun.:D

Congrats on the bullet score. I wish I had gun shows close to me like you do. I went to one last month and they wanted $23 a 1000 and wouldn't give a discount on quantity.
