I purchased a Remington 700 SPS in 223 and the trigger is at least 5 pounds. Anyone know if there is any way to adjust the poundage lower? Or is this strictly a gunsmith item? Thanks.

I have one of those too and it shoots great but the trigger is very heavy. Go to snipercountry.com and look in the how to section. I worked on mine and its at least two pounds lighter. If you want it lighter you're gonna need a lighter spring.
