The Browning web site no longer lists handguns. Have they dropped their entire line of handguns?

There was a whole bunch of Hi Powers at the gunshow yesterday at DFW, but I am not sure. I thought the last reorg of FN put Browning as the civilan/LEO side of their house and military was FN, but now that the French own them, who knows?

Browning USA no longer imports the HP. FN imports it.

What's this (http://www.browning.com/products/catalog/firearms/category.asp?value=007B), chopped liver??

...... oops, I see what you mean; they took it off their menu list. They just haven't deleted the specific web-page yet.

If I am not mistaken, FN (still a Belgian company) owns Browning. FN also makes the M4 and the m249.

Browning has quietly begun re-importing the Hi Power. I saw one last month - seems finished better than the "FN" pistols, and it doesn't have those awful importer numbers and such all over. Asking price was around $625, which is IMHO a bit on the steep side.

Bubbygator, where in the world did you find the link to get to that page?

If you go to the firearms page on brownings website, there is not link that connects to that page you gave us.

Ya I know. Some people apparently had that HP part of Browning's website still in their favorites because they deleted the menu entry for it a long time ago. Maybe they did it by mistake or maybe on purpose, who knows.

Ok,...I thought I was going nuts....in the firearms page, the links skip from #6 to #8, and as you can see, that page that was posted is value 007
