I've read lots of crabbing about ill fitting Classics, but the dozen and a half sets I've owned for S&W K,L, and N frames all fit fine. I've tried almost all the wood grips from major makers, and the Eagle Classics have been the most comfortable and the best at handling recoil. They have a subtle right hand palm swell that makes them far superior to any S&W factory grips.

While they usually have a dark, dull appearance from the factory, a friend has buffed mine to bring out some really nice grain, then applied a high polish polyurethane finish that makes them gorgeous.
