You know, it is VERY interesting that they're asking about stuff like this - it means that common sense may be forcing a theoretical viewpoint change.

folks, this totally came out of the blue to my work # of all places. if this is a truly randomly poll, then, i guess there's a first time for everything.

I wish they would call me for their poll. :) I can see no place that the authorites screwed up. That includes the chief of VT police and the president. The perp screwed up. Why do people always have to loose their jobs for doing what makes sense at the time????

VT President screwed up by enforcing a victim disarmament/crazed killer enablement zone. (i.e. No guns on campus rule.)

People should lose their jobs because they are NOT doing what makes sense. Disarming the law abiding and thereby creating a vast target rich environment where crazed killers/terrorists/persons-with-issues can be virtually 100% assured that they can commit their intended rampages with NO INTERFERENCE whatsoever should NEVER be considered "What makes sense at the time" by anyone with even a modicum of sense.
