My wife just called me and their school is on lock-down.

A person either called in or left a note (I don't know yet.) a bomb threat that outlined his intentions against Bogalusa High School, Bogalusa Elementary School, and the Bogalusa Medical Center.

According to my wife on her cell phone, they have arrested the person, and they are searching for any bombs. She said indications from his possessions indicate he was planning someone other than idle threats.


Looks like more copy cats are coming out of the woodwork.


Keep us in your mind. I don't believe my wife is in any danger--she is an a building away from the main building-- but Jenn is pretty scared right now.

I'm telling Jen's kids to hit the windows (1 story school) and run if anything gnarsty goes down. And I'm talking to the school administrators, and for once I'm not going to be wearing a t-shirt with a gun on it.

Hi i'm in Bogalusa too ,went and picked up my son from BHS after he called and told me what was going on.I herd something was going at the JR high too.Herd it was some named tommy stonger(local nut job)

Just heard local radio news on this. 53 year old guy has been arrested.

Glad you got him out. My wife is one of the Pre-K teachers-- I doubt she was anywhere near the threatened area-- being that the school system is so spread out.


Did you see the guy's photo in the link I posted? I don't know the Tommy Stogner guy, but he sounds like a nut...

I doubt we'll be seeing him around much in the near future (I hope).
