Any suggestions? I need JHP because apparently that is what I am supposed to use in my Autauga....BUT JHP is usually expensive, which means I dont shoot it very often....I just need a source of cheap 32 hollow points to play around with...but not to carry.

7.65mm is not as popular as one would might think, so any rounds for it are gunna be pricy!! You might check Wallyworld. They might have something. Other than that, it's gunshop prices for you, I'm afraid!! I just checked the Winchester site for USA .32acp jhp's and none were listed!! I payed $13/box for hardball and just about double that for Silvertips!

If you only can shoot HP ammo you're gonna pay dearly...here's a source for FMJ at around $7.00 a box:

Yeah, JHP's have a shorter OAL than FMJ, You should be able to find S&B .32 ACP JHP's for $7 somewhere. My local store is Cheaper Than Dirt (http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/) but their web site says thaey are out right now. Look around at Natchez, Midway etc. you should be able to find some.
good luck,

A while ago, www.aimsurplus.com had .32acp Dynamit Nobel (RWS) for $5.95 a box or so. Good ammo, made in Germany.
You might call their 800 number and ask if its coming back soon.
I figure if enough of ask for it...

Do yourself a real favor and stick with FMJ with a .32 acp. Not enough penetration to use an expanding bullet. IMHO.

Cooter I haven't fully checked the penetration yet, but I think this would hurt.
32 Cor Bon out of a Kel Tec in a water jug. The ONLY HP that I've rested that will expand in that short barrel.:)

Ditto on the S&B.
You should be able to find it for $6-7 per box. (gunshow price)
It is good ammo, and slightly hot, in my opinion.
I switched to it in my P32, after Silvertips went to $18-25 per box around here.
 :banghead: :fire:
(How old are Silvertips in .32 acp, anyway? Isn't that, like 30-year-old technology?)
The reason I started with them was because they were cheaper than the HydraShoks, Gold Dots, etc.
Funny how the price went up, when small, affordable, reliable 32s became available.
I think Fiocchi(sp?) makes an inexpensive jhp.
You should be able to find HydraShoks or Gold Dots for $10-12 per box of 20.
