Caspian arms

Can some of you give me some information on Caspian Arms? I recently receive a 45 compact looking commander model1991, but it was not a 1911. It just said Caspian Ultimatch on it.
Any help greatly appreciated.:) Quality of pistol also.:)

As far as I've ever heard, Caspian does not make complete pistols. The produce high quality frames, slides (and maybe some small parts). Many custom builders not big enough to have their own brand parts choose Caspian - but that is no guarantee of build quality.
