Idea: We need "Whips"

In our Government there are people known as "majority whip" or "minority whip." Basically a Whip is a person whose job it is to organize and ensure members of their respective party show up for a vote.

My idea, and you may call it lame if you wish, is to compile a list of those who would be willing to engage in a writing campaign or contact campaign. A sticky could be created, a man appointed to lead it, and THR screen names made into a pre-made list ready for a mass PM. The mass PM would direct all the willing to either a form letter or a set of criteria that should be met so as to make our letters focused. By doing so I believe that we would be more organized, more focused in our activism, and grow our numbers. All participants in the list would need to be committed though. It might also be helpful if someone (a committee of sorts) could help organize by priority issues we wish to tackle first. This way we're not having mass PM's every day and thus overwhelming each other.

In this youtube video of Ron Paul on Fox's BYA they state how they received hundreds of demands to see Paul on the news. http://www.youtube.com/v/-Bze5xpW1v4

Okay, for activisim, a thread should never be just an idea, and then a what do you guys think? Use L&P for that. This forum is for when you've got a course of action, and we need to execute it.

Moving.
