Please post a non link listing of any Polls you find.
Make it a non link so there is no trace back to THR which might invalidate the poll, a way to do this is to leave off the WWW. from the address.

Poll on ABC about gun control !!! Everyone needs to vote.
Poll is about 6 inches down in the center of the page in the "blue" banner.
abcnews.go.com/US/story?id=3045574&page=1
2)
http://www.nypost.com/news/news.htm
The Virginia Tech massacre has ignited debate on gun control. Do you think:
23.5 % Handguns should be banned
23.4 % Gun restrictions should only be tightened
53.1 % No change is needed. Guns are only a problem in the wrong hands
3)
"Should college students be allowed to carry concealed weapons on campus?"
woodradio.com/main.html
4)
It is on the main page of www.cnn.com. The question now is:
"Will gun control be a factor when you vote for president next year?"
5)
And one with two possibly good answers in it.
Here's the text, slightly edited for clarity.
A gunman killed 32 people at Virginia Tech on Monday
How can similar tragedies be prevented?
Add technology to lockdown buildings, screen visitors, alert students, contact police
Do a better job of monitoring students' mental health
Adopt stricter gun control laws
Allow trained school staff members to carry guns
Such attacks can't be prevented
COPY and PASTE, so it's not hot at the StarTribune--
This poll has been up for almost a month. It gives some opportunity to actually type in an answer vs. just click yes/no.

Bobo, you need to make sure the links posted here aren't "live" links (that is make it to where they aren't clickable). Just post everything AFTER the www. and we can copy them, paste them into a new browser window and type three w's and a .
If the link is live, and you click on it, the admin of the site you're going to will see http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=271026 as a "referring page" and if we hammer one of their polls they'll yank it down if they see a lot of traffic coming from one place.

Please go back and re-read the previous post. Including the entire link allows tracing back. Exactly what we are trying to avoid.

hannity poll about what issue is most important. Regardless of who you support, Hannity has access to all REpublican candidates, he interviews them more than anyone else I know. He has tried to press people like Giuliani on gun control, lets show him he needs to press harder and make these people come clean!
Does the Second Amendment give individuals the right to bear arms?

A local affiliate is running a CCW poll. The Virginia/Christian Trejbal CCW outing debacle was covered locally, since Mr. Trejbal was a journalist here in Bend before moving to VA to expose dangerous good guys with clean records.
Make your opinion heard!
The poll is somehwat down near the bottom; scroll down a bit to see it.

A new sheriff is going to be appointed to fill the remaining term of Mike Carona, who resigned under pretty heavy accusations.
For all Mike Carona's faults, the one positive he did bring was CCW reform. Pretty much any law abiding citizen in OC can get a CCW, which is NOT the norm for California's urban counties.
Acting Sheriff Jack Anderson, aside from being a very, very decent person and 26 year veteran of the sheriff's department, is VERY pro CCW. The other candidates are mostly anti-CCW. One who claims to be pro-CCW was pretty anti-CCW until he ran for sheriff a few years back and lost.
The bottom line is that we need Jack Anderson to be appointed to fill the term, which he will then run for in a full election in 2010.
Please go to this poll (add the www): ocregister.com/articles/department-sheriff-county-2053701-jails-plan and vote for Interim OC Sheriff Jack Anderson.
Thank you.
