I've taken in on a trade, several boxes of this .32 "truncated cone" ammo, and I am totally unfamiliar with it.
Have any of you ever shot it?
Hot/weak? Reliable/Not? Clean/dirty?
What can I expect?
(I kinda like the truncated cone bullet shape).
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Yeah, this was available surplus a few years ago.
Most people said it's good ammo, but IIRC it's corrosive, so clean accordingly.

Yes, decent range ammo. Average to low power, a little dirty.
The flat nose caused premature lockbacks on my P32 until I applied a little file to the slide stop.
It is Berdan primed.

The flat point bullet sometimes failed to feed in a Manurhin (Walther) PP. I only used this ammo for practice so that was not a big deal.

I bought 1,000 rds of it a couple of years ago, intending to give half to my daughter for her Tomcat. It feeds and functions fine in my P-32, but was slightly too long to feed in her Tomcat.
It's non-corrosive, Berdan primed. I've never had a failure in around 400 rds fired thru my P-32. Would use it as carry ammo without hesitation. Although I usually carry Cor-Bons, the flat pointed FMJ should provide more wound capacity than the pointed RN variety.
