traded for pair of bp rem copy pistols.need help to id.nickel plated with gold plated cyl,hammer and guard.has what looks like white grip panels. serial no,s sg0507 and sg0508 .limited edition 1 of 5000. thanks for any help.swdon

you need help identifying the maker of these pistols?

Probably Uberti or Pieta - for American Historical Arms - or whatever the name of that company puts out all of the "commemorative" firearms is...

Look at the barrel - if there's a stamping on the left side of the barrel that shows fll Pieta, then its a Pieta piece. If the stamping is under the loading lever on the barrel and shows Uberti.... well then.

If the title of the post is correct, then they were made by Pietta.
The serial numbers looks like the set was made for and sold by Sportsman's Guide. It was in the late 80s or early 90s that they sold sets like these. Some had the 8" barrel and some had 12" barrels.

Yep; "F.lli Pietta" is a contraction of "Fratelli Pietta" (Pietta Brothers), and is commonly misread as "ellipietta" or something similar.
