What do you carry or use with your handguns? Brand, model and description would be helpful.

Hi Marshall,
I have a thread called " Law enforcement flashlights" that is or will be a data-base of many flashlights and tactical lights, showing beam shots at the same distance, same target and same camera settings.

I used the A2 Aviator, great light, but I recently upgraded to the U2 Ultra from Surefire, same run time from the high power beam, twice the light in the same package. Also the U2 has a red light adapter available.

Now for a weapon light I use the Surefire X200B on my USP and the Insight X2 Laser light for my P99c.

I use a Surefire Z2 with the lanyard, I can use it with any gun since it doesn't mount on the firearm. Rugged, handy little light

i have a surefire E1E for everyday carry that stays on the nightstand w/ my XD. i used to have a cheap weaponlight on the XD but it finally broke (that's what i get for the $45 special at AIMsurplus).
i have various other small lights around (dorcy spyder is one of my favorites) but i've been debating whether or not to get a larger light that could double as a weapon. i've come to the conclusion that i'd rather have a weapon light or small hand held that allows me to do more w/ my weak hand (open doors, use knife/pepper spray/extra mag) over having a 4 D cell club.

My EDC is an Inova x1, it is a great little light and runs for a long time on a good AA battery.

I use a Dorcy with a 3 watt Luxen led rated at about 90 lumens .

It uses 3 common triple A batteries "which I use rechargeables" it has a thumb push button switch near the head and it can be used with your standard two handed hold "although you weak hand fingers don't get quite as good a grasp as they would if you didn't have the light in your hand" which is more natural than many of the popularly discussed positions with a light .

Go to sears.com and search for Dorcy and you will find them for under $50 , I have used them as work lights for the last couple of years and have dropped them on concrete at heights of over 6 feet and they still work just fine .

My EDC is an HDS EDC U60 with an upgraded SSC LED that will put out more than 120 lumens (closer to 150 is my best guess) and thats real lumens not just advertised lumens. :D

I also carry an Amilite Neo T5 with SSC LED that is about 115 lumens (again real lumens not advertised lumens)

I have several others but those get carried the most. Here is a pic for size and recognition.

I did just recently get a surefire E2D at about 65 lumens. Bad thing is, the Batteries only last about 45 minutes.

Big belt light: Streamlight SL20
Little always with me belt light: Streamlight Strion
Also always have a streamlight stylus w/ red LED
I've got a TLR-1 on my G34 these days and just finally got a good off duty holster that holds it as well.

The SL20 is actually easier to shoot with, as I just say screw it and shoot one handed. With the strion I keep trying all the fancy psuedo two hand holds on the weapon, which never works quiet as well as just shooting one handed. The TLR of course lets me shoot two handed, which is much prefered.
