I'm glad to see I'm not the only one. I carry a S&W 340pd inside an uncle mike's holster inside the biking shorts on strong side. some times I carry the smallest fanny pack (the kind it only fits an I pod) where I put my ID and 2 strips of bianchies strips. The strap on the fanny pack holds the gun more securely but still accessible from the riding position. However I have ridden without the fanny pack and the pressure from the biking shorts, hold the gun fine. Double O

Also the fanny pack heps conceal the slight bulge on the side of the hip. I put the fanny pocket on toward the rear and the buckle close to the gun, so it looks like the buckle is causing the bulge.

This gun is rather bulky and heavy to CCW on me while pedaling, and because of the movements, the shirt almost always slides up over the top of the hand grip (Hello Everyone! Look at Me! I'm Flashing My Big Ol' Revolver! Please Write Me Up Officer!)

I decided to take a different approach and tie wrap the holster to my bike frame up near the neck covering over the holster and hand grip with cloth. It's quick to get to, but the down side to this is I cannot lock my bike and enter a store, lest someone gets nosey, looks under the cloth, and five finger discounts my gun.

If you do it this way, you have to be one with the bike at all times.

I use a Camelback MULE when roadbiking - I usually carry my P3AT, although the MULE is big enough to carry about any handgun, and I have, carried my Glock 26.
