Cusstomer service

Bought a scope from a company on the net, who shall remain nameless. Now, I know that optics are better, the more cash you have in them, but I thought that I would try this one out. Was on sale, usually 119.00, on closeout for 69.00. I wanted one that had target turrets, and AO, and this one fit the bill. ( .22 sillhouette rifle). I had about 30 rounds thru it, testing out different types of .22 ammo, when the crosshairs started to rotate counterclockwise! Really screwed up the day.

Anyway, I called customer service when I got home, and told the guy who answered what happened, after giving him my name, and the invoice number. His words, were, " I have no doubt." Now I thought that maybe they had been having problems with them, and asked him. His words were, "Well you get what you pay for!" I told him I didn't expect it to have the optics of a 700.00 scope, but I did expect the crosshairs to stay put!

He gave me a return number, and I called the company today, and talked to the service rep supervisor. He apologized for the guy, and said he would take care of it. I would think that talking down about a product, especially one that is well known, would not be a good thing for a company to do.

Oh well, I'll see what happens when I get the replacement in.

:cuss:

Had to vent, thanks for letting me rant.

On the proverbial "bright side," at least the guy's honest, eh?
