Good Day to all on THR:

Please forgive me if I bend the rules for I am " FACTORY NEW " to THR.
I have a 1100 12 ga problem. The Trigger Group will not function IN THE GUN.
T.G. functions as normal both before and after being set in the reciever. When properly placed in the receiver the trigger travel is reduced by 50 % and the safety will not operate. Has anyone out there had this problem and what was the answer to the riddle ??

I've seen this happen with a sidesaddle that's attached to the shotgun too tightly (the receiver is pinched slightly, preventing free movement); are the shell-stops staked into the receiver tightly, or are they sliding back and forth?

Thanks Sdc:

The Latch Slides (as Do The Ones On My 870 And It Works Fine), I Will Restake Them And Give That A Try. Thanks Again

For any of you that may have this Problem in the future here is the solution:

The Shell Interceptor Latch Spring had jumped out of position and had wedged behind the latch, restricting it's movement. When the trigger group was inserted the latch applied pressure to the sear disconnector, which caused the problems. Resetting the spring back into it's slot cured all the problems and weapon preforms as normal.
