Here's the skinny:
I have a Saiga .308-1, with wood furniture, that I got as a Christmas gift from my dad a few years ago. I got a PSOP 8x to sit on top of it (which is a pain trying to figure out how to zero...doesn't get many range trips, so that hasn't happened quite yet), which emphasizes the wonky trigger of the stock setup. So, I got to thinking--what are some modern ballpark estimates for getting a stock/trigger conversion (IN WOOD, mind you!), to something more like, say, an SVD rather than a "run of the mill" AK silhouette for the rear stock (the front end is fine to me)? And who are good/reliable guys to have do the work?
And as a help, if someone could also enlighten me as to the laws/freight charges that would apply to mailing this sucker...... and as a second bonus, any gunsmith that is suggested--do they offer to zero rifles?
