A question of value

I was at Cabela's tonite looking at guns and one that I saw and really liked made me a little nervous. It was a springfield 1911 in 9mm. It had some custom stuff on it but wasn't totally tricked out. I can't even give you a list of what was on it, night sites and maybe the trigger was different. At any rate, it was used and I was wondering what you guys would expect to pay for a similar piece. It was in excellent shape, I'd say probably a 90% to 95%. Let me know what you think.
BTW i did end up buying a very nice Ruger 77/22 mag rifle that's gonna make one sweet varmint hunter.... :)

If its at Cabela's---its probably too much---no matter what the true value of the gun is.

Actually, much to my surprise, Cabela's gun prices have dropped dramatically. I know that I used to never even bother looking there because it was way too rich for my blood. Now apparently they've decided to compete and the prices are very reasonable. Give them another shot if you haven't looked in a while. A very nice selection of handguns and rifles plus prices that are very competetive. Hard to believe, I know, but a true story.

I've noticed that too, just about everywhere :)
