I saw this post today and was a bit concerned.

I just bought a PT 111 PRO for my concealed carry piece and have just started looking into IWB holsters. This post concerns me a bit when I look at the prices of some of them.

Does anybody carry IWB with this particular firearm? If so what do you use?

I prefer leather, and something I can tuck over if I feel the need. Thanks for any input.

Well, I've got a 111 Pro, and I just use a cheap (read: $10) synthetic fabric clip-on IWB holster I got from Scheel's All Sports (which you probably don't have down there). I don't know what brand it is; I'll check the next time I go to Scheel's.

It doesn't have any sort of retention, but I find that a belt alone is enough tension to keep it firmly in the holster, even at a good run or while fooling around with my (3-year-old) son on the floor. I keep it at 5 o'clock.

I also have a Don Hume OWB which was made for a PT111 (non-Pro), and didn't fit right when I got it - so I reshaped it, and it fits just fine now.

I have a pt111 Pro and use a High Noon "Hidden ally" holster (see them at www.highnoonholsters.com). It rides IWB at 4:00. It is comfortable enough that I forgot I am carrying sometimes. It has adjustable tension, and I have never had a problem with the gun slipping.
