Wolff springs might have some. You'll have to look through their listings.

Just a point of curiosity..........Why do you want the cheapest spring when the function of the 99 is most dependant on the recoil spring and its function? :scrutiny:..........
They are cheap to buy anyway.....wolff.
Shoot well

Maybe I'm missing something here but, Wolff, aka: Wolff Gunsprings, does not list a recoil spring or recoil spring assembly for the Walther P99 pistol.

The term "cheapest" may not be the correct term, possibly least expensive would better suit the question.

I suggested S&W because one can obtain a Walther OEM part from them thus putting the pistol back into factory spec if the assembly currently in the pistol is worn.

Earl's Repair Service in MA also sells Walther OEM assemblies but they are far more costly than dealing directly with S&W who BTW, is the current importer of the P99 pistol.

Correct me if I'm in error here.

Cheapest most definitely must be the wrong word. Even so, the difference in price between the cheapest and the most expensive comparable recoil springs (same weight for same model, etc.) can't be more than $2-3. So, unless buying in bulk, say 100s of springs, it won't matter. PLUS, the $2-3 saved in purchasing on-line may be negated by shipping costs.

If you do order on-line, but sure to check the differences in shipping costs between sellers. You can end up with anything between $1 for USPS shipping, to a fixed s&h charge of $3-5. In the latter case, some places just have a fixed minimum shipping and that would be for one spring or many, up to a given package weight.

One thing one wants to keep in mind IF you decide to call Earl and order from him. He has a $25.00 minimum order + shipping.

If you need only the one spring...

Do yourself a favor and call S&W for the assembly, they are the least expensive.

If Wolff doesn't have a replacement spring, S&W should. My guess, since S&W out sources so much of their parts for their autos, you'd prolly be getting a spring made my Wolff anyway ;)

Incorrect.

Call 800-372-6454 which is Walther America inside of the S&W facility in MA.

You will get a Walther OEM recoil assembly for the P99.

Or, Walther America (http://www.waltheramerica.com/) and followed the link to the Customer Service and e-mail them.

Why does this seem so hard.
