where the "X" is a number between 0-9

Can someone tell me when it was made?

If it is a "S" prefix serial number it would be 1959-1960. A "N" prefix would be 1975-1977.

I have a 22 cal short revolver that is chrome? with a fold-up trigger, it is marked on the top strap OMEGA MOD. 500. On the barrel it is marked GERMANY 28501. Does anyone have any idea who made this or where it was made.
