Help! Colt .380 Extractor has issues!

Well, I'm fairly new to stripping this gun. I knew the extractor can get in the way. Well, I finally got the gun apart again and put back together but now my extractor is just hanging straight down. Is there a spring that keeps them up? It has absolutely no tension on it anymore. I lift it up and gravity pulls it straight down so it lays right on the inside of the grip.
Please tell me there is an easy fix to this. :o
This is the Colt Gov. .380.

The sear spring should be holding the extractor up. If the lower end of the extractor is not between the sear spring and the trigger "bar"(?) then you don't have it together right. I suspect you have the trigger bar resting on the sear spring leg and this is your problem.
If so, it's your "easy fix".
Cheers

Yep. The spring was holding it. Fixed. Thanks.

 This is the Nomenclature Police!!! It is an ejector!!!! :neener: Just kidding, guys. Using the correct term can prevent misunderstanding of a problem.
