How long do suppressors really last? How do you care for them?

It depends on what kind of suppresor, and what kind of cartridge you are running through it. The more often you get it hot, the faster it will wear out.
Anywhere from 10,000-50,000 rounds. The manufacturer usually has a rating on their can. So they will usually outlast several barrels.
Care of your can depends on the type. Some cans take down for cleaning. Others you squirt them out with brake cleaner. Even the take down kind tend to get frozen together with carbon so you can't take them apart, so you squirt them out with brake cleaner too.
