M3/M6 Tactical Light

I used to keep my M6 on my G17 all the time. Once I began to use this gun as my primary carry, the M6 just sits in the range bag. It seems the thrill is gone. What an expensive thrill it was!
I'm curious - do any of you actually carry WITH an attached light?
If so, how?

I have an M3 that I mount to my G19 for home defense. It is stored in a GunVault on my nightstand.
For concealed carry, I remove the M3 for my G19 and carry a Surefire E2, which is carried in a fanny pack. I carry my G19 in a Milt Sparks Executive Companion holster.
When I get home, the M3 goes back on my G19. In addition I keep a Surefire 6P in the GunVault also.

Almost the same thing. I put my M3 on as soon as I get home and it stays there till I leave in the morning. When its not in use it sits on the head of our bed.
A friend of mine ordered me a holster that is adjustable that will hold my Vertec with the M3 but its so big and hangs down so far that I don't wear it unless I just want to for a range session or something like that.

I have an M3 and use it on two of my guns. When I travel at night, I carry either a Glock 20 or XD357 w/ the M3 light affixed. I carry it in an backpack with a "pistol pouch." When I carry a holstered gun, it does not have a light. I may carry the XD concealed with the light "handy."

For house gun, not a big deal. But for a carry gun,it just adds too much bulk :(

you could carry it with the light dismounted, and in a pouch.
if it gets dark and you draw your gun, attach the light.
