A new handgun will be joining the fold this weekend or the first of next week.
I have a couple of .40's that are used as HD and a truck gun, I have a j frame for ccw, and a .22 plinker. The gun i am going to get is mostly for range shooting and friendly competion between myself and my usual weekend group that gathers every sunday to shoot. I want it to be capable of HD if needed. Should I get the 4" GP 100 .357 and fill the full size revolver gap, or do I get the Glock 17/19 and help round out my auto collection with a 9mm? (i plan on a .45 some time later.) Does the current political climate sway you to get the hi cap 9mm's while you can? Just putting all of this out for thought.

Mid frame .357. revolver. It will serve all your needs. A good gun for introducing others to shooting and developing your own skills with .38's and fine gun for HD and any other endeavor with .357's.

6" blued, GP-100 with a BSA red dot sight. A great gun. The trigger is as good as the one on my Model 19.
