didnt see 6.8 Rem SPC , didnt see 7.62x54 R, or 7.62x 39 , or 5.45 x39. 2 of those are among the most widely used cartridges in recent history.

There are also quite a few obsolete caibers listed, and some "proprietary" cartridges, too- manufactured for various gunmakers rilfes/chamberings only.

Came from “Superior Ammunition”. They are a company that tailors hand loads for your specific rifle. They mostly deal with big game hunters. You send them your rifle and the work up the best loads, or you can order “sample packs” of various hand loads based on your rifle’s specs and what you are hunting. That is most likely a list of what they make or have in stock, although they can make just about anything.

Lookie here

And scroll down to the very bottom where it says

40 SHORT KRAG – At a length of 1.94”’ this is a pretty good Schuetzen caliber, but best adapted to the seldom programmed ASSRA Class 2 shooting. It is worthless for silhouette, being very short.

.40 Short Krag is the most obscure caliber I have ever heard of. If you do a google search on ".40 Short Krag", the above page is the only result. It's not even in my copy of Cartridges of the World.

You know what? I'm honestly starting to suspect that the people on that website are making this whole thing up!

What would make you think that?

CotW is handy, but it is at best a tertiary source with a lot of errors and omissions. Nothing earthshaking but don't take it as the last word.
