It's a penetrator round with a round nosed profile so it feeds in semi auto firearms.
The penetrator projectile is made with a very heavy copper bullet jacket with a very hard linotype core. We make flat nosed penetrator rounds for revolvers and round nosed penetrators for auto pistols like the 10mm. These rounds were designed for hunting large heavy game. They will have no problem defeating heavy hides, thick dense muscle and heavy bone.

Thanks Michael. Appreciate it.
I have a couple of boxes I will run through at the range for first time. Looking forward to it.

...
Hey TC,
I recently bought a box of your *Cor Bon 9mm Luger +P 90gr JHP for my Sig P229R Carry 9mm.
After testing all of the following:
147gr
135gr
115gr
*90gr 1500fps @450ft/lbs
*And I must say, no recoil, to speak of, and all shots from a full magazine at, 15ft, 25ft, 35ft, 45ft, were closer grouped in the 2" black bulls eyes, smeared with green, easily making for far closer groups, tighter shots, than the others mentioned, unloading full magazines at each distance, for me.
Good stuff.. just hard to find a lot of here in So. Calif.

TeamCorbon,
Can you provide a picture of these Penetrator rounds? I've searched your site and came up with nothing but pictures of the boxes.
I imagine they are there, but, I'm just not finding them.
Thanks!

Also - how do they compare to hardcast rounds for penetration of bone? I thought the meplat helped with that.

Typically, a "flat" on the nose will aid in straighter penetration than a round nose. The round nose tends to slip and slide through tissue and sometimes gets a little sideways as it travels through tissue--getting sideways hinders penetration. Flat nosed bullets tend to chop or crush thier way through tissue and this keeps them going straight, plus they do a lot more damgae along the way.
