I have a Remington 1889 grade 3, outside hammer shotgun with damascus barrels. I purchased it for a song and I, basically, got what I paid for. It's barrels are heavily pitted. Rather than replace the barrels which are serial numbered to the gun, I am leaning toward having the barrels lined. I know Teague in England wants $2,000.00 plus $200.00 for the ride to do this work. Is there anyone in the states who is capable of doing this work reasonably. Thank you.
