Just curious, are there any 7 or 8 rd 44mag revolvers?

Not to my knowledge. An 8 round .44 revolver would have a massive cylinder and would be pretty unwieldy.

couldn't find anything 8 shot in .44 mag, but there is some in .357

Taurus makes (or made) the 608 which is an 8 round .357.

I owned a 607 which was a 7 round .357...nice gun.
