Help with sights for Kimber Custom Target II

I bought the Kimber Custom Target II at my local Cabelas yesterday. Would not have been my first choice because of the plain black (but adjustable) sights but the price was definately right. I ended up paying only $580 after all discounts were added up. I already put on the Pachmayr rosewood grips which really make that gun look a lot better, but now I need some advice on some aftermarket sights. White dots are fine but night sights are better, can anybody give me a tip on which sights to go for and where to get them, I am planning to have a gunsmith install them. Or is there a good way to 'paint' a couple of dots on them, i'd be open to that too.
Thanks.

In order to accomodate the adjustible sight your slide has a special much larger cut out than would be normal for a set of fixed sights, its a Bomar cut. So you will need a set of special fixed sights, regular ones for a standard dovetail will not fit or will leave an unsightly gap at the rear.
Call Kimber and ask them, they probably have a specific set of night sights that will fit the Bomar slide cut that was made for the adjustibles that are on the slide.
Do you just want white dots?? or do you want night sights?
It may also be possible for Kimber to put a night sight blade, or a dot blade on your existing adjustible sight, and change out only the front sight.
Give them a call first and ask.

The Kimber adjustable sight cut IS NOT the same as a Bomar cut. Bomar does make an adjustable for the Kimber dovetail but it is different than the standard Bomar (Kimber cuts have a -K at the end of the model letters.)
I don't think Novak has anything to offer for a Kimber adjustable. If you want to change to a fixed sight, take a look at Heinie. He makes a fixed sight that goes in the Kimber adjustable cut. It's black or straight 8.
