One of my favorites came from one of THR Mods. Can't remember if it was Byron or Correia but it went something like "If you come out of there with a gun, the undertaker will be wiping your butt before morning".

DISCLAIMER: I don't go in much for the chest beating kind of statements but this was a "get control of the situation now or be hurt badly/die" scenario that happened to me as a rookie cop when some punks mistook me for a security guard on the property where they were dealing drugs.

5 punks - Yo man, we done tolt' you rent-a-cops this was our place but youz too damn stupid to stay away. They is five of us and one of you so we gonna make you pay!

Me - (Drawing S&W 686) Well there are five of you and six bullets in this gun so I guess I get to shoot one of you -twice-.

It was quite a shock to them as the security guards were unarmed.
