Ok, I've narrowed it down to a .270 in a Remington CDL or CZ 550 American rifle. Which one should I choose? I keep hearing nothing but great things about the CZ, but I've never even seen one in person. Any advise will help, thank you.

I think you would be happy with either when it came down to accuracy. What you will need to do is cycle the bolt, feel the rifles up to your shoulder.
I have one CZ in .223 and love it and have a few 700 and love them. If I had to pick between them I would have to flip a coin....

my god man, when you put your finger on a cz, and push in that set trigger, then pull, you will swear you died and went to Heaven, and will target shoot with Jesus! ( he was once a corporal , you know) cz uses beautiful wood, their bbls are allways free floated, and their receivers are just acheing to have their cz rings fitted on to the bridge.
Don't even get me started on a cz's accuracy.

I'd get and already have the Remington CDL it's a classic. You can't go wrong with it and you will be very satisfied after shooting it.
