I have an Ithaca Model 51 in 20 ga. which last weekend, apparently, cracked the bolt carrier(the bolt sits on top). I understand that this a common problem. New Ithaca Gun Co. claims to be going to manufacturing them in about 6-months. Has anyone had any luck welding or brazing these. The price on this new parts is going to be stiff. Any help would be appreciated.

Gunparts has Ithaca M 51 parts. No mention of a bolt carrier though.
