Some time ago on these forums, there was a thread started by a gentleman who bought a couple of cheap O/U shotguns and cut them to nearly the shortest legal limit, fore and aft.

This sounds like a fun project for me, for a WhyTheHeckNot gun.

For the life of me, I can't find that thread anywhere. A link would be appreciated.

Who can reccomend a dirt cheap porduction shotgun in the $100-$150 range? I know single shots are available in this range, but are there any O/Us?

If not, what is my best bet brand-wise for a used gun in this range?

I plan to. I might have to end up finding a single shot, but I don't know if id be happy with that.

I'd REALLY like a SxS, but I dont think theres such a thing as a cheap SxS
