I've been reading a book about Harvey Donaldson, and in the book he states that his first real rifle (the one that got him into shooting) was a single shot Steven's Expert model in 22 lr. I've been doing a little research and cannot find a Steven's Expert Model anywhere. I know that Steven's had hundreds of different models, but was wondering if anyone had heard of this model. Or if Harvey got the name wrong.

He may have been talking about the Stevens No. 12 "Marksman" and just promoted it over time.:D

Stevens also called their No 5 and No 6 Tip-Up single-shots "Expert" models, especially when they were done up with high-end wood or silver plating.
